Complementary Therapies
Complementary therapy aims to treat the whole person, taking into account present and past states of health, lifestyle, diet etc. This approach to healthcare is often referred to as "holistic". Complementary therapies can be used alongside conventional medicine; that is, they COMPLEMENT the care given by a medical practitioner and are in no way intended to REPLACE such care.
